Schedule reshuffle and it looks good!

Just another update for my travellor's blog as the countdown continues to descend as we go - it is 179 days left and less than 26 weeks left - not far off also I am turning 23 very soon, which is only next month.

As I have mentioned, I was planning not to say anything on when I would be in the United States of america, unfortnately due to the reshuffle of my schedule, it would be too easy to find out, so it is absolutely true that I will be flying out on Tuesday 28th of December 2010 and it is only the beginning.... and will not return back to Sydney Australia until the 15th of January 2011 (will leave U.S on the 13th). That is almost the total of three weeks in Oregon and Washington, but only two days extra than the last trip I went earleir this year.

So my schedule as it would stand right now however I am awaiting for my friend's thought of the changes, just need the hope that she'll be happy with it.

28th December – I arrive in PDX from LAX at 2.35pm. A friend of mine will pick me up
29th December - stay at a friend's in Portland
30th December - stay at a friend's in Portland
31st December – NYE event with friends
1st January - stay at a friend's in Portland
2nd January – Snow trip with friends Friend from Salem will take me to Salem
3rd January – Stay at a friends in Salem, OR
4th January – Stay at a friends in Salem, OR
5th January – Stay at a friend's in Vancouver, WA
6th January - Stay at a friend's in Vancouver, WA
7th January - Stay at a friend's in Vancouver, WA
8th January - Stay at a friend's in Vancouver, WA (Irish Bar Event)
9th January - Stay at a friend's in Vancouver, WA
10th January - Stay at a friend's in Vancouver, WA
11th January - Stay at a friend's in Vancouver, WA
12th January - Stay at a friend's in Vancouver, WA
13th January - fly out to LAX 5pm from PDX. Fly out to Sydney Australia from LAX at 10.45pm

This is more better than I originally thought and I hope my friend would be happy with this, I believe it wouldn't be a problem at the least!

I have one particular reason, which I can not be mentioned here at all, and I can not wait until I arrive.

Until then, bloggers.

...counting down continues.

Only 188 days to go, until the day I head out. Only few days ago that I have booked my domestic flight to Sydney, one down side is that I booked at the first flight of the day which is at 6.20am, and I have to get up at 4am or something to get everything ready and set to head out to the Canberra international Airport. I am flying Qantas again - because it is more simple that way so I don't have to worry about dragging my luggage across to the international terminal when I arrive in Sydney as the main luggage will be automatically transferred to the international teriminal awaiting for storage on my plane bound for Los Angeles, California. By the looks of it, I may possible be taking at least 3 luggage with me which will be the same blue steel luggage, my cheap-black-wheeled luggage and my laptop backpack. Yes indeed - I will be bringing my laptop with me to U.S.A, because it is a important gadget that I must bring with me.

I can imagine how it feels when the day has arrived, it is just like the first day I did about 6 months ago - it was a great feeling because it was the time I have not been to the states for 11 years - I was beaming when I saw the beach approaching to my view of my window seat - it was amazing and that was when I will look forward to see it again when I return to Los Angeles.

Now, what next? As the countdown continues... as I look for the right travel insurance, as skiing cover is a must.

Until then...!

Six months to go and counting...

I can't describe in better words on how excited I am, I know it has been six months since I went on my first solo international holiday to America and all I can say, was the best vacation so far, and after many months of thinking and pondering. Last April I finally made my decision and bought my flight ticket back to America - Yes, you read correctly, I am returning back to the United States of America for three weeks after Christmas this year. I will be staying mostly in the Pacific Northwest - Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington; this is where all my friends reside. The good things are that the flight ticket is already bought and my annual leave has been approved - the dates will not be disclosed here.

The last time, I stayed was extremely short; three days wasn't enough and I was extremely disappointed so that is why I have made my decision to make it up and get to know my friends more, they also get the opportunity to know their aussie friend more too. It is going to be a very good holiday - there are few events in store like:

- New Years Eve Celebrations
- Snow trip with friends and for one of our friend's birthday
- Irish Pub event
- Deaf Starbucks gathering
- Few days stay in Salem, Oregon
- Farewell dinner
- ...and more.

I am pretty much sure there will be more things to do while I am in Oregon/Washington, on the other hand, there will be some few surprises here and there, which will not allowed to be mentioned here, which it will be revealed once done - this is for the sake of my friends, and it is in-part of my top secret plans. *evil laughter*

At the moment, I am researching for the appropiate travel insurance, since I would be possibility be going to the snow trip, as it would be my first time to try in my whole life, I wouldn't risk any injuries without any travel insurance, they are the most important documents I will need also there is other things I will need to organize such as domestic flight to Sydney which this will be taken care of later in the year - I also already started to save money so I could use it as spending money and it is of course, to keep me sane and to have fun while I am on vacation.

216 days to go....
